Photography is the art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film.

It is employed in many fields of science, manufacturing  and business, as well as its more direct uses for art, film and video production, recreational purposes, hobby, and mass communication. Typically, a lens is used to focus the light reflected or emitted from objects into a real image on the light-sensitive surface inside a camera during a timed exposure.

With an electronic image sensor, this produces an electrical charge at each pixel, which is electronically processed and stored in a digital image file for subsequent display or processing.

Great Experience

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.

It’s no wonder that quotes by photographers are one of the most popular things to share on social media, usually by other photographers of course.Reading one line that encapsulates our love for photography is powerful, and often reminds us of the importance of documenting moments with our cameras.

The photographer quotes below have been cited hundreds of times over the years, and continue to inspire photographers from all over the world, from children picking up a camera for the first time, all the way up to a seasoned professional.

Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.

A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people. Photography deals exquisitely with appearances, but nothing is what it appears to be. “Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling.

If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.

To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
